How much does WordPress support cost?
By Dale Sutton · Updated 14 September 2026
In Perth, a single WordPress fix typically costs $100–$250, a half day of developer time $400–$600, and ongoing maintenance $100–$400 a month depending on what's included. Oria Digital charges $149 for a Quick Fix, $299 for a Website Tune-Up, $495 for a half day, and from $249 a month for Website Care. All + GST, and you're told before a job exceeds the package.

What to check in any WordPress support quote
- Is diagnosis included, or billed before you know what's wrong? A fair quote looks before it prices.
- Who does the work? 'Support' can mean a ticket queue and an offshore team, or a developer you can call.
- What happens if the fix takes longer than quoted? You should be told before, not invoiced after.
- Is there a backup before changes are made? Non-negotiable.
- For monthly plans: are updates staged first, or applied blind? Are backups tested, or just taken?
When a monthly plan is worth it
If you've paid for two or more one-off fixes in a year, a care plan is already cheaper — and the site is being watched between fixes rather than only after something breaks. Plans also change the incentive: the developer is paid to keep things working, not to fix things after they fail.
If your site is simple, rarely changes and has never broken, a plan may be more than you need. Pay for the fix when you need it, and keep a current backup.

How much does WordPress support cost?
Oria Digital charges $149 for a single WordPress fix, $299 for a Website Tune-Up that reviews the site and fixes the highest-priority issues, and $495 for a half day of support. Ongoing care plans start at $249 a month. All prices exclude GST, and if a fix needs more than the package covers you are told before the work starts, not after.
Can you improve my existing website?
Yes. If the site is structurally sound, Oria Digital improves what is already there rather than recommending a rebuild — that applies to WordPress and most other platforms. Typical improvements are page speed, mobile experience, technical SEO, messaging and the enquiry forms. If a site genuinely isn't worth keeping, you are told plainly and quoted the alternative.
Do you work with WordPress?
Yes — WordPress is the main platform, including custom themes, plugins, Advanced Custom Fields, WooCommerce and improving existing WordPress sites without rebuilding them. Oria Digital also builds on Next.js where that genuinely suits the job better. The platform is chosen for the business, not the other way around.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Website Care is month to month with no lock-in. Growth + Optimisation has a three-month minimum term, then continues monthly. Three months is roughly what it takes to install improvements, watch real enquiries move through them, find what isn't working and fix it — any less and you'd be judging it before it has had a fair run.
